A Little About Me...

I came across Norwex in 2013 when I was considering going on a trip to India to support an organization that helps women who are rescued out of sexual trafficking. It is a cause I am passionate about, and I felt led to go, but the amount of money involved in a trip like that seemed impossible to me. It was that time a friend asked me if I'd ever heard of Norwex. I said I hadn't, but I got curious, so I googled it. I had already told my friends that no, I was no salesperson and there was no way I could do any of those "home party businesses". But as I learned about Norwex and I got my hands on some samples, I was blown away! This was something that everyone needed! The products actually worked, and they worked really well! Not only that, but they were products that were healthier for our families and our planet! Less harmful chemicals to breathe in and less waste! No more paper towel! I decided that ok, I would try it. I signed up as a consultant (and why not? It was free.)! And the rest is history! I went to India and came back and I'm still with Norwex. Norwex has changed our home and the environment we live in both by radically reducing the harmful chemicals in our home, but also through the financial income I've been able to contribute to our budget.
My husband and I live out in woods in Northern Michigan with our two children. I am happily homeschooling them right now and we love living up here! My husband is also passionate about the natural world and works as the Director of Support Services at Au Sable Institute of Environmental Studies.
